Introduction
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the most fascinating wildlife parks of Kerala. Spreading for over 778 square kilometers it is situated amidst the steeping Western Ghats. The Periyar National Park is also a tiger Reserve which is also noted for its Tiger Conservation Project.
