Kochi is well-connected to a number of other cities of Kerala. The city has three important railway stations which include Cochin Harbour Terminus, Ernakulam Junction and Ernakulam Town.
Road:
Kochi lies in the center of three important National Highways which connect the city to other cities like Kanyakumari, Salem, Mumbai and Madurai. Regular bus services are available connecting these cities to Kochi.
Water:
Kochi is well-connected with a number of important cities of the region by water which include cities like Alleppey and Kottayam which are connected to Kochi through the picturesque backwaters.

Bolghatty Palace
Built by the Dutch in 1744, this beautiful island is a must-see while on a tour to Kerala.
Dutch Palace
The Dutch Palace or Mattancherry Palace is located at Mattancherry was built originally by the Portuguese after which it was presented to the Maharaja of Kochi in 1555.
Jewish Synagogue
Built in 1586 AD by the prosperous Jewish community this is the oldest synagogue oin India.
Cheeyappara Waterfalls
Located between Neriamangalam and Adimali are the Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls on the Kochi - Madurai highway.
Chottanikkara Temple
Dedicated to Goddess Bhagawati - the mother Goddess and Lord Vishnu, the Chottanikkara temple, located near Ernakulam is one of the most respected temples in Kerala.
